Boy Scout Electronic Lock-In

Welcome to Troop 4167 of the Lincoln Heritage Council, George Rogers Clark District! We are located in Floyds Knobs, IN and our chartering sponsor is St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church. The troop was founded in 1968 and has been a real success due to the fine leadership and parental involvement. With an average registration of 25 scouts and 10 scouters, we meet on a weekly basis with the exception of holidays. The Tuesday evening meetings are held at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church in the classrooms off of the school gym from 7:00 - 8:30.
With outdoor activities planned monthly, we seem to accomplish the needs of the camping and backpacking enthusiasts. We attend Summer Camp annually. We try to attend a new summer camp each year to keep things exciting. We backpack at Red River Gorge a few times a year and rock climb at Torrent Falls. We have our own canoes and kayaks, so we usually plan a few canoe trips each year. We floated the boundary waters at the Canadian Northern Tier High Adventure Base last summer. The troop attends the Camporee annually, which is hosted by our district, along with lots of monthly troop outings on the agenda.
